The 2008 formed Bacsó Kristóf Quartet 's repertoire consists of the bandleader-saxophonist's compositions, which can be heard on the composers sophisticated debut album titled Alteregos as well. The quartet plays Bacsó's fresh compositions, which respect traditions but not long for the past, and in which elements of contemporary music and jazz mix with East-Central European flavors. In their music carefully composed musical components link with sounds inspired by the moment.
