Jamie Winchester and Róbert Hrutka – Wood and Strings (Featuring: Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra)

It was almost 20 years ago that Jamie Winchester and Róbert Hrutka had the idea of performing their songs on stage with orchestral accompaniment. This is how the first Wood & Strings concert came to be in 2004, which was such a great success among the audience it later provided material for the band’s third album. The songs re-arranged in many places were regarded as a curiosity both for the band and for the audience. To satisfy the wishes of the audience, the band is getting back together, and three years after their last joint concert they will perform this special, atmospheric show accompanied by the Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra.
